About Us

Founded in 2008, the AIC Foundation takes its name from the phrase Aliis Inserviendo Consumor which translated from Latin means “consumed in service of others”Taken from inscriptions found on early Roman graves, together with a carving of a candle, it represents the dedication of the organization to direct generously donated resources toward those members of our society that need them most.

A non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation (*), the AIC Foundation supports programs and institutions of healthcare, education and social services around the world, particularly in those countries with limited institutional and financial resources. While each grant recipient provides unique services, all must express an enduring commitment to helping the disadvantaged in societies that are not always welcoming and where needs are not always met.

(*) "As of September 2008 the status of Aliis Inserviendo Consumor Foundation is pending as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  Once the Internal Revenue Service issues a determination letter, a follow-up acknowledgement will be sent to the ticket purchaser.  Please note that it could take several months for such determination and acknowledgement to take place.
